9.00 mm M Hook 

Scissors 

Large Eye Tapestry Needle 

1 ½ Skeins Wool Ease Thick & Quick for Toddler 212 yards Super Bulky.

2 ½ Skeins Wool Ease Thick & Quick for Child 265 yards Super Bulky.

3 Skeins Wool Ease Thick & Quick for Adult 

1 Skein Go for Faux for each size. 300 yards Super Bulky. 

Crochet Terms:

Ch- Chain

Ch 1- Chain 1

FHDC- Foundation Half Double Crochet 

HDC- Half Double Crochet 

HDC3rdLOOP- Half Double Crochet in 3rd loop for this pattern the HDC3rdLOOP is in front of top two loops of previous hdc, unless stated otherwise for a row. 

SC- Single Crochet 

Yarn A: Wool Ease Thick & Quick 

Yarn B: Go for Faux yarn 

FO- Fasten Off

Gauge:

Row 1: Ch 10, HDC in 2nd ch from hook and across, ch 1, turn. 

Row 2-5: HDC across. 

Swatch should measure 4 x 4 inches. 

Sizes: 

Toddler will be in Red () 

Measures: Folded in half, 23 in L and 8 in W for hood. 

Child will be in Blue ()

Measures: Folded in half, 27 in L and 9 in W for hood. 

Adult will be in Black ()

Measures: Folded in half, 34 in L and 10 in W for hood. 

Start of Scoodie for all sizes:

Row 1: FHDC 96, 108, 120, ch 1, turn. If unfamiliar with FHDC, Ch 97, 109, 121, HDC in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across, ch 1, turn. (96)(108)(120)

Row 2: HDC3rdLOOP in each stitch across, ch 1, turn. (96)(108)(120)

Row 3-(6)(8)(10): Repeat row 2, FO, weave in ends. (96)(108)(120)

Row 7(9)(11): Reattach yarn at stitch (33)(37)(41), ch 1, HDC3rdLOOP in same stitch and the next (31)(35)(39), ch 1, turn. Note: For this row Hdc3rdLoop will be in the back. (32)(36)(40)

Row 8(10)(12): HDC3rdLOOP in each stitch across, ch 1, turn. (32)(36)(40)

Row 9-10(11-14)(13-18): Repeat row 2, do not FO at the end of designated row, fold hood part in half, sl st back of hood which is the two short pieces where you just ended together, FO, weave in ends. (32)(36)(40)

Outlining Scoodie:

Reattach yarn to bottom left part of scarf, SC crochet evenly around the whole scoodie and sl st back to 1st SC, FO, weave in ends. 

For both Pockets: 

Row 1: Reattach yarn B to bottom right corner of Scarf, SC in same stitch and next (9)(11)(13) stitches across, ch 1, turn. 

Row 2-(10)(12)(14): Sc in each stitch across, ch 1, turn, at the end of designated row, FO, leaving a long tail and using tapestry needle, fold pocket up and sew along down the side, Cut long tail and repeat for the other side, FO weave in ends. (10)(12)(14)

Adding Fur to the front hood Edge:

Using Yarn B

Reattach yarn to (33)(37)(41) from the bottom of left or right part of scoodie, Ch 1, HDC in same stitch and next, (31),(35)(39) stitches, ch 1, turn. (32)(36)(40)

Row 2: Ch 1, HDC in each stitch across, FO, weave in ends, fold brim back. (32)(36)(40)

Large eye tapestry needle

Scissors

Worsted weight yarn 4 around 60 yards.

6.00 mm (J) Hook

Tapestry Needle 

Scissors 

Optional: Faux fur Pom. 

Crochet terms:

SC – Single crochet. 

BLO – Back loop 

Sl St – Slip stitch.

Ch 1 – Chain 1.

Sk – Skip

Ch 3 – Chain 3. Also counts as stitch throughout pattern. 

Shell stitch – Double crochet 5 in designated stitch.

DC – Double crochet.

FO – Fasten Off.

BO – Bind Off. 

Gauge:

Row 1: Ch 16, HDC in 2nd st from hook and each across, ch 1, turn. (15)

Row 2: HDC in each st across, ch 1, turn. (15)

Row 3-8: Repeat row 2. (15) 

4 in x 4 in. 

Beginning with brim.

Row 1: Ch 6, SC in second stitch from hook and SC in the next 4 stitches, ch 1 and turn. (5)

Row 2: SC in same stitch SC in BLO in next 3 stitches, SC in last stitch ch 1 turn. (5)

Row 3: Repeat row 2 until you reach 36 rows. (5)

1 oz polyfill

Scissors 

Crochet Terms:

Ch 1- Chain one

Small in red ().

Start by making the square panel:

Row 1: Ch 16, 20, 24, SC in 2nd ch from hook and SC in each remaining ch across, ch 1, turn. (15)(19)(23)

Row 3-(15)(19)(23): Repeat row 2, at the end of row (15)(19)(23), FO, leaving a long tail to sew along outer edge of square using tapestry needle, place polyfill in center and pull tail end tight to cinch the Pom closed, tighten and then bind off and sew onto hat or any item you’d like.
