How do you hide knitting mistakes?
First, stick a needle through the stitches immediately under the mistake so they don’t get loose. Do the same thing to the row on top. Next, thread some extra yarn–enough to go through three or four stitches on either side of the repair–into a yarn needle.
Why is my knitting getting wider?
If your knitting is getting wider, it means that you are adding extra stitches or changing your tension along the way. More and/or wider stitches create the extra width. To prevent this, ensure that you are not making any new stitches unless the pattern tells you to.
What yarn is good for finger knitting?
I would look at using an Aran, DK or Chunky yarn for children’s finger knitting. If they are looking at making something like a headband or necklace I would use the Aran or DK as they are finer and much more delicate in the final product.
