Materials:
Bulky yarn (5) Bernat Maker Yarn in 2 different colors in small skeins or all one color and 1 large skein.
6.50 mm Hook (K) Pattern includes angled seam instructions and straight seam instructions, whichever you prefer.

Crochet Terms:
SC – Single Crochet
Ch- Chain
HDCBLO – Half Double Crochet Back Loop
HDC- Half Double Crochet
Sl St – Slip stitch
Ch 1 – Chain 1
MC-Clay
CC-Cream
Includes Instructions for angled seam and straight seam. Whichever is your preference.
Finished size. 11 x 11.

Starting w/ bottom of bag:
With MC Yarn

Row 1: Ch 35, hdc in 2nd stitch from hook and the next 32 stitches, 2 hdc in the last stitch, DO NOT TURN, continue along opposite side and hdc in the next 33 stitches, sl st to top of 1st hdc. (68)

Row 2: Ch 1, Hdc in same stitch and each stitch around, sl st to top of 1st hdc. (68)

Row 3: Repeat row 2. (68)

Row 4: Ch 1, HDCBLO in same stitch and HDCBLO in each stitch around, sl st to top of 1st hdc. (68) (Seam will go at a angle, this is normal).

Row 5-15: Ch 1, Hdc in same stitch and each stitch around, sl st to top of 1st hdc. Change to CC. (68)

Row 16-21: Ch 1, hdc in same stitch and each stitch around, sl st to top of 1st hdc. (68)

Row 22: Ch 1, Hdc in same stitch and the next 19, ch 14 and sk 14 stitches, hdc in the 15th stitch and hdc in the next 19 stitches, ch 14 and sk last 14 stitches and sl st to top of 1st hdc. (68 stitches including chains)

Row 23: Ch 1, Hdc in same stitch and the next 19 stitches, hdc 14 stitches over chain, hdc in the next 20 stitches, hdc 14 stitches over chain, sl st to top of 1st hdc. (68)

Row 24: Ch 1, hdc in same stitch and each stitch around, sl st to top of 1st hdc. (68)

Row 25: Ch 1, Sc in same stitch and each stitch around, sl st to top of 1st sc. FO, weave in ends. (68) (Seam will angle)

If wanting to make the bag with a straight seam follow instructions below.

Instructions for Straight Seam
Starting w/ bottom of bag:
With MC Yarn

Row 4: Ch 1, Sk 1st hdc, HDCBLO in the next stitch and HDCBLO in each stitch around including a HDCBLO in joining Stitch, sl st to top of 1st hdc. (68)

Row 5: Ch 1, Hdc in same stitch and each stitch around, sl st to top of 1st hdc. (68)

Row 6: Ch 1, Sk 1st Hdc and hdc each stitch around including a hdc in joining st, sl st to top of 1st hdc. (68)

Row 7-21: Repeat rows 5 and 6. Change to CC at the end of row 15. (68)

Row 22: Ch 1,Hdc in same stitch, hdc in the next 10, ch 14 and sk 14 stitches, hdc in the next 20 stitches, ch 14 and sk last 14 stitches, hdc in the last 9 stitches,sl st to top of 1st hdc. (68 stitches including chains)

Row 23: Ch 1, Hdc in same stitch and the next 10 stitches, hdc 14 stitches over chain, hdc in the next 20 stitches, hdc 14 stitches over chain, hdc in the last 9 stitches, sl st to top of 1st hdc. (68)

Row 24: Ch 1,Hdc in same stitch and hdc in each stitch around, sl st to top of 1st hdc. (68)

Row 25: Ch 1, Sc in same stitch and each stitch around, sl st to top of 1st sc. FO, weave in ends. (68)
